It's Senator, you babykiller!
Barbara Boxer (D-CA) chooses to chastise a General for calling her maam, instead of senator. She's not even in his chain of command, and even he she were, 'Maam' is perfectly acceptable.
It's petty, snide and condescending. When addressing a General, who's devoted much of his life to service, she acts like this.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Democrats were hostile to the military.
And then she addresses him as "you"! He should have then demanded that she refer to him as Sir. Or to only speak in the third person addressing him as "The General".
Instead he acted with poise and decorum. Contrast that with her.
Without swearing, I think this sums it up best.
"Elections have consequences!" --Barbara Boxer (C-CA)

Really? Really? Well, she's got guts, I guess. Like making General is a walk in the park. Ha!
